Hi lovelyjitu,
As you probably know, English is "non-phonetic" language. This means, the spelling of an English word is different to its pronunciation. So in order to learn English you need to listen to English. Do you agree with this?

. I've got a handy little English dictionary: American to British / British to American Really!
But I guess that would be different from an English to British English dictionary. . _________________ "Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power." ~ Abraham Lincoln |

Hi Lovelyjitu,
Did you mean "English to British English" or "American English to British English"? I guess, the latter is what you want. _________________ Nicholas |
