Hi,

Yes, will is right here.

I just got a little question: Are these 2 sentences correct?
Quote:
When my grandfather died, I discovered that he left me some money on his credit card
When my grandfather died, I discovered that he left me some money in savings

(Acually, my efforts were directed to make some of the other choices fit in here, could you do so if my attempts failed, please.)

thanks

When my grandfather died, I discovered that he left me some money in his will.

I think one word is missed in this sentence. I'd say like this:
When my grandfather died, I discovered that he had left me some money in his will.

.
Leaving money on a credit card is very unorthodox. More likely, some money was found on his credit card after he died; he didn't intend to leave a credit balance.

Your other sentence is fine.

I don't understand why don't use the word " savings" in that case? Please let me know, teacher.

Hi Dphuongthuy,

You cannot automatically leave your savings to anyone unless you give that money via your will. Therefore the correct term is 'left money in his will'.
