English exams: IELTS, TOEFL or TOEIC? #16 (permalink) Mon Feb 22, 2010 11:35 am   English exams: IELTS, TOEFL or TOEIC?

Hello Alex.
Thank you for your reply. Your advice will help me to find a job. I am neither Australian nor European so I am unsure how I can get a permission to work in United Kingdom but I would like to try to gain one because I think it will be very exciting to work over there especially as a chef. Thank you again for your help.
By the way, can I ask you where you are working in the U.K ?

i think IELTS is better than TOEFL test. i tried both of them i think Speaking for example in IELTS is easier then Toefl because u will have more time to speak compering with Toefl.

Manal, regardless of which test you take you need to capitalize the personal pronoun 'I' and spell 'you' correctly. Also, please note the correct spelling of the word 'comparing' and the difference between 'then' and 'than'.

TOEIC is very suitable for you to certify your English proficiency! To some extend, TOEIC is a vocational test! while TOEFL or IELTS is academic test!

Kwfine, scoring more than 6 in iELTS is pretty easy. I help students prepare online for IELTS and till date all my students have scored above 6 Band. My next batch starts tomorrow if you want to see how I teach non-native speakers of English. You can also attempt the FREE IELTS tests I have uploaded on wiziq.com and I'll explain the answers to you. Here is the link
