Hi, the TOEIC is the most widely recognized business English test (by total number of test takers every year).

Agree with Torst, TOEIC is the way to go business-wise, in my opnion TOEFL is much harder but its really only used to get into college _________________ 福山市 英会話 goodwin |

how about IELTS? Is it easy for non native English speakers? I will be sitting for the IELTS in March, and I start to feel anxious about it. I heard that IELTS is tough and not easy to get 6 or above. _________________ 各位前輩安安, 我是kitty喔! |

Hi Kwfine,
The question is: Why are you taking the IELTS? What are your goals?

| I think IELTS test is one of the most well-designed English test all over the world. IELTS test is comprised of four different sections, Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. Those sections are consist of a language. In my opinion, if you want to test yourself detaily you would be better to sit on IELTS test. |

I am sorry, Torsten! It should be PgDE, not PgED. _________________ 各位前輩安安, 我是kitty喔! |

I agree with Sunhoek, IELTS is a great exam and it helps both for studying or working abroad, having two different type of certificate, academic and general training. Academic is recognized by all the best university in the world, also in the us. GT is accepted for working visa in uk, australia and many other english speaking countries. And now also big companies started to require english certification to foreign workers and ielts is considered very reliable, more than others, in particular local unknowk exams |

I am curious about knowing more the job opportunity in uk. I am seeking an opportunity to work as a chef in United Kingdom. Could you advise about that as far as you know please ?
