I feel jealous very often. A little bit like Jamie when I see a person get previleges others really deserve, I feel angry and jealous. I will say to myself:"This guy is a good-for-nothing without licking boss's boots and why that guy is so lucky that he could study abroad with the money their parents grafted." OMG, I really feel angry.
Sometimes when I watch a photo of a happy couples i feel jealous and wonder why they are so lucky?

In Eastern Europe I used to get angry about Americans who had an opportunity to study abroad and then wasted it, turning it into a big party on their parents' money and arriving home with no knowledge of the language they were supposed to be learning in their host country.
Meanwhile, I'd see Czech families in which the parents would work two or three different jobs, slaving away to assemble enough cash to send their teenager to the US or Canada to learn English. Their kids took the opportunity to study abroad VERY SERIOUSLY, and they all spoke good English when they came home.
Sometimes I wished there was a way to rob the travel money from the foolish American's parents and give it to the struggling Czech parents for their child.
You may say this makes me sound like a communist, and yes, communism is based on jealousy and the desire to rob people. However, if my idea were really communism, I'd rob the money from the American parents and then make it disappear somehow so that nobody gets anything. |

Jamie(K)
please don't change the topic. it has nothing to do with the COMMUNISM china. And when you talk about China, don't use such word as"rob" because it makes the chinese very angry.
Jamie(K) I begin to think you are a chinese now. _________________ Try to change youself before you try to change others. |

I wasn't talking about communism in China, Aleaf. I was talking about the communist impulse in general, which exists in many places, and even among people in some prosperous capitalist societies. I can hear it in my town among auto factory workers who make $100,000 a year and still complain about being exploited by the "rich". And sometimes I see it in myself.
Anyway, if you see me changing the subject, you can just ignore it. That keeps the peace. |

| I am sometimes jealous of my friends' success and luck. However, to me, jealousy is just an offhand feeling; it's kind of human characteristics . If we are obsessed with it most of the time, it may put us back. |
