You probably know the term boarding-school. A finishing school is similar. It's a private school for girls that concentrates on cultural studies and prepares students especially for social activities.

Switzerland is well-known for its private finishing schools, such as Institut Villa Pierrefeu.

So, in this context the word finishing is part of the noun and you can make sentences like She finished the finishing school or Finishing a finishing school can be a difficult task.
