Dear alan's

I really wanted to thank you very much for your essay. It was great and I enjoyed it. I have a question here for you and I wish to give me an answer ASAP. Right now, i am doing some medical exams in order to requalify my degree and get an opportunity to immigrate to canada or US. The problem is, i have some exams need to talk to the patient face to face and there was no time in that kind of stations just 5 minutes every station, you know what I mean!! so I need self confidence to pass those stations because when I get nervous I forgot everything.

please give me some advices and I am looking to hear from you very soon.

Dear poster,
Thank for sending me an excellent essay. I really enjoyed and I am pleased to take part in your forum but I need you to guide me how Ican become a member.
Do you know the essay really helpful beacause it is a good chance for me to get more the knowledge of Bristish's history even it's not my country and English is not my mother tone, too. Afterreading her esaay,I found that language not only is birdge of communication of human but also tell us about its history to exit and develop. I think Biristish citizens nowadays should pride of their mother tone as Vietnamese people pride of their history to get freedom like me.
Thank you again and I hope to receive more eassays of all of you.

Dear Issam,

Thanks a lot for your comments and questions. If you want to increase your self-confidence when speaking English, you need to surround you with English on a daily basis. Let's say at least 30% of your daily 'media input' should be in English. So instead of listening to radio stations in your native language, listen to English radio stations. Instead of watching your national TV channels, watch English language TV channels. Instead of listening to audio books in your mother tongue, listen to audio books in English.

Let me know what you think.
Regards,
Torsten

Dear Alan,
Thank you very much for your excellent essays which tells me more about the history of English than what I learned from my college more than 20 years ago. I've really admired the way you write. You know this is the first time I have ever written to you as only after reading your pieces of writing did I know how bad my English is. I know that reading so many of your writings without any feedback has made me ashamed of myself, but I could hardly know what to write, how and where to start. It is extremely useful to me reading your English.
I hope to be with you more often with my gradually better English.
Thanks again, Alan.
