so i'm an engineering major and i just got done w/ my GRE
V:470
Q:800
and i was wondering if my verbal score would really hurt me when i apply for grad school..

Which part you mean?

The verbal seems okay for this major.And the best way is to check the coordinators of the school you applying for.Different schools have different standards for GRE. Like MIT haven't any minimum of it.
