Hello all,

What's your opinion about practicing English with audio files and their scripts?

Should we listen to the audio files first? How many times?
Should we repeat after the speaker?

Thanks in advance,
Mohammad

My method when learning other languages is to listen to the audio file two or three times before I read the text. You'll see that with each repetition you'll understand a bit more. After the second or third listen, I'd read the text, and then I'd listen to it two or three more times. I found that this really improved my listening more than reading the text first.

I'd be interested to see how other people use them.
