I looked up the word "seek" in the dictionary. Seek can be both used as Vt and Vi
that is to say a noun can follow the word immediately without any a proposition. for example I can say
I am seeking a job now.
He tried to seek information on net.
Mr. Smith sought medical advice from Doctor Jone.

So waht about to seek for a job? what is tthe difference between seek and seek for?

Thanks~~

.
We do not use "seek for" to mean "look for".
The word "seek" (without a preposition) means "look for".
