What does "rubber-stamper" mean? #1 (permalink) Mon Sep 03, 2007 21:08 pm   What does "rubber-stamper" mean?

Hi,

Could you tell me what 'rubber-stamper' means. I couldn't find it in the dictionary.

"So... Bush dropped into Iraq, again. I wonder if he brought a plastic turkey this time, too, or if the plastic will be in the fraudulent walk through some area of Baghdad, with a massive amount of protection all around him, as all his right wing rubber-stampers do."

Thanks.

A rubber-stamper is a yes-man of sorts-- one who simply approves documents passing from his In-basket to his Out-basket without thought or consideration.
