A Possessive adjective exercise #1 (permalink) Mon Sep 03, 2007 21:48 pm   A Possessive adjective exercise

Well, Here I come again.
I was studying about this part of speech. Then I found an exercise that was about "replacing the possessive noun" for the possessive adjective. For instance, "The dog's food is in the bowl"; then you've got to replace the possessive noun for the adjective. Like this: "His/her food is in the bowl".

Nevertheless, I stumbled with one exercise which I couldn't solve. And that exercise goes like this, "My mother-in-law's house is in London". So, what possessive adjective can replace the possessive noun? Hmmm?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks Sir! However, Where the possessive "My" goes?? Hmmm...? Of it is impossible to show in that sentence that My mother-in-law has a house in London. Hmmm? :?

No 'my' here. That's who 'she' is: my mother-in-law.
