Phrase: "The early mornings"

Would you say that the following sounds OK to you—the early mornings stands here for many mornings.

I would remove 'the' and add 'he'.

Or, you could also say, 'Many an early morning...'. Somehow, though, the adjective 'early' bothers me. It sounds as if he might still have breakfast later in the morning (but that's only my personal opinion).

I agree with you, Conchita. If Tom gave us a bit more context, however, that might make a difference.
