I am really sympathy towards you for not being able to pass even after 3 years Mon Sep 10, 2007 18:07 pm  I am really sympathy towards you for not being able to pass even after 3 years

My friend failed for three consecutive years. So I went over to him and said, "I am really sympathy towards you for not being able to pass even after 3 years", just to sneer him.

Do you think the expression in quotes is correct. If not, please give me correct expressions.

.
Well, in any case, it is not very nice, but here is a corrected version:

I am really sympathetic towards you for not being able to pass even after 3 years.
