I'd suggest this:
A- Because I do not want to lie with my feet towards my grandfather's photograph.

Now could you explain your sentence a bit further? Is doing something like that a cultural no-no in Pakistan? Or is it the case that you simply don't want your toes to block your view of the picture? :D

Well, it sounds to me as if this may indeed be a cultural issue, Tom.

I can imagine someone telling you not to tread on the Holy Bible, but I honestly can't imagine someone telling you that shouldn't point your feet in its direction.
