Hi,

I have got another question to ask of you.

Quote:
Mr Bloom walked on again easily, seeing ahead of him in sunlight the tight skullpiece, the dangling stickumbrelladustcoat. Going the two days. Watch him! Out he goes again. One way of getting on in the world. And that other old mosey lunatic in those duds. Hard time she must have with him.

What does this mean?

Thank you!

.
No idea, but I did find the rattlesnake reference-- I think Mrs Breen is saying her husband is feisty and irritable like a rattlesnake-- he is preparing to sue someone for sending him that prank postcard!

Re: 'going the two days'-- I see no textual reference; perhaps Bloom saw Farrell walking along yesterday like that too.

Oh, yes! Her husband was irritated by that postcard written 'U.P.'! That reminds me of everything and makes everything's ends meet.

Many thanks again!
