Hi,

Do you say:

a/ Sales volume

b/ Sale volume

c/ Volume of sales

or

d/ Volume of sale ?

Please tell me the difference in meaning between these 4 phrases. Is there a couple that is interchangeable ?

Thanks

We say "sales volume" and "volume of sales". These are interchangeable. We don't say "sale volume", and especially not "volume of sale". The plural is used because sales volume generally involves more than one sale, not just one.
