Hello, Slava

I am worried about some of the lost posts--I mean, the ones we lost due to the hacking problem. Please let us know if you would be able to resurrect them? When?

Many thanks

Tom

Hi Tom,

Clearly I am not in a position to give you any final answer with regard to this matter, but my guess is that some of the posts may really be gone forever. Do you keep back-ups of any of your own data? If you do, you will be familiar with the fact that only data that's been properly backed up can be recovered in the unfortunate event of all the data being erased as a result of hacking.

All the best

Dear Englishuser,
You are right. The last posts from 7. Sep (11 a.m.) to 9. Sep (3 a.m.) have been deleted by hacker(s).
Now we have bought a second server and I make a backup copy of our forum every 6 hours.

Tom, many thanks for your question, but I can't help you :(
