Good evening dear forum members, newbies, communicators, users, youmayfindmeonenglishtestnetters, moderators, administrators, ladies and gentlemen, Mr. President, Your Majesty,

for all those who know me - nice to see you again! How're you doing? for all the others - hi, I'm Alex!

It will be just a brief question:
Do You know the short song that is used in movies and cartoons (and, maybe, not only) to wake up the squad of boy/girl scouts? It is played on something like a trumpet and must be very, very famous, but I don't know the name... any help will be appreciated!

Question inspired by: America the Beautiful - my N2 favorite patriotic song after German National Anthem

okay, I have said everything I wanted, and will now disappear for the next half a year!

All the best wishes!

Alex

Nice to see you again too, Alex, and please don't disappear for another half year!

The bugle call you're referring to is reveille, I think:

Well, if you say so. It's probably more exciting than your ordinary alarm clock. Still, I'd rather be woken up gently by, say, one of Michael Bublé's songs, for example.
