There is a very useful search function at the top of this webpage. If you type the words from since into the Google search box at the top of this page, then click on the 'Forum search' button (not the Google search button), then you will see a list of threads where this topic has already been discussed. (At the moment clicking on the 'forum search' box seems to be defaulting to a google search, but if it does that, simply click on the 'Search www.english-test.net' radio button on the results page and search again.) They should help you. _________________ Cheers m' dears! |

Hi Sunny, Please check the following sentences which are correct?
She has lived in Japan for twelve years. (Present perfect) She has been living is Japan for twelve years. (Present perfect continuous)
But in your example you described that : she went to Japan sometime in the past and is still living there. The action started in the past and has not finished yet.
Then is it not an example of present perfect continuous?
please help me to clear my confusion. |

Why do you think it is not an example of present perfect continuous, Waduzzaman? _________________ Cheers m' dears! |

You can find many such tables by typing the phrase 'table of verbs English' into a search engine. _________________ Cheers m' dears! |
