Good question! :D

Quote:
She has danced for 30 minutes. (Present Perfect)
She has been dancing for 30 minutes. (Progressive Perfect?)

Is it possible to say that in 1st sentence; she has danced for 30 minutes but not necessarily the latest 30 minutes, whereas in the 2nd sentence she started dancing 30 minutes ago and she is keeping dancing until the time of speaking.

Please clarify!

Thanks

Dear Sir,

My name is Konemany. I am very confuse with present perfect.Today, I have studied present perfect from internet forum but, I did not undertand how to use it yet. Such as: I have been to Vietnam before I have been to USA. That maens I went to Vietnam Its finished at all or what.Or I have been lived in Laos before I have lived in USA. I dont know it happened in past or still to in present.

Why have you used the gerund form in these sentence?
Thank you very much for your support!

Often, when we use one verb after another, the second verb is in the infinitive form, for example:
I want to eat.
But sometimes the second verb must be in gerund form, for example:
I have finished eating. 'I have finished to eat' would be wrong.

Which rule you follow depends on the first verb.

Here is an alphabetical list of some of the most common verbs that are usually followed by a verb in gerund form:

admit, appreciate, avoid, carry on, consider, defer, delay, deny, detest, dislike, endure, enjoy, escape, excuse, face, feel like, finish, forgive, give up, can't help, imagine, involve, leave off, mention, mind, miss, postpone, practise, put off, report, resent, risk, can't stand, suggest, understand

So, for finished actions with no present interference I must use the SIMPLE PAST.
E.g. I worked for 4 hours.
Is this example correct?

it's means 'it is'. The only time you use the apostrophe in this word is where you could say 'it is' instead.

It's warm outside.
Don't you know it's finished?

Use 'its' everywhere else, even to denote possession.

Can you see its lights?
Here is its documentation.

It's in its correct position now.
