I live north of the Alps. I moved to Germany 6 years ago, so I've been living in Leipzig (Saxony) for most of the new millenium. I only every go back to Ireland for a few weeks in summer and for Christmas. And why? I've been taken in the snare of a woman... |

Hi Che,
The phrase "I live north of the Alps" implies that you live in North-Western Europe. From where I live, the Alps are a 500-kilometre drive. But the Czech border is pretty close, and you can go skiing there. The last time I went, I ventured to jump off a little snow-made ramp and got away with a sprained ligament in my knie :oops:

That's what I like about our forum: We can start a thread on gay marriage and end up talking about spelling mistakes and language interference all the while being able to connect all these topics to each other.

If you had dyslexia, wouldn't you have spelled it "enke" or "eekn" or "keen" or something like that -- assuming you meant to spell "knee"?
