i'm kinda confused with the phrase 'take oneself seriously'.
when i say 'he takes himself too seriously', does it mean that person is strict to himself, and serious in doing every task?
or it has another meaning that he has an exaggerated sense of himself?

Thanks for answering my question.

Hi,

'Take yourself too seriously' suggests that you believe that you are more important than you actually are and can't be objective about yourself.
