Hi Remy,

'Fees' or 'a fee' are what you pay for a particular service. School fees are what parents would pay for their child's education at a private school. An entrance fee is what you would pay to go to an exhibition, an art gallery a historic building.

Hello Alan Sir,

Please tell me if there is any difference between the word "fees" and "fee". I have heard many people using the words interchangeably.
What is the correct form?

Best Wishes!

Hello Sir,

One more difficulty, what is the difference between "Spoken English Course" and ''English Speaking Course"? Please give your explanations since I have noticed many English language teaching institutes with the either of the phrases.

Best Wishes!

Hi,

In the singular 'fee' often refers to one particular payment and you see that on a notice outside for example an exhibition: entrance fee £5.00. 'Fees' in the plural often refers to a a series of payments that have to be paid such as to a solicitor (lawyer) when you buy a house or if you send your child to a private school, you would pay school fees.

Hi,

On the surface there doesn't seem to be much difference. I would choose 'Spoken English Course'. I think 'English Speaking Course' isn't very clear and I would say: A course in Speaking English'.
