Hi ovaisi! In my opinion, IELTS is way easier than TOEFL, you may consider taking it. But you have learned TOEFL so far, maybe it's not a really good choice to drop TOEFL. I think every test has its own difficulties. It takes time for you to be familiar with a new test. The decision is yours, that's just a few thoughts of mine. |

| Thanks nguyenminh and adeel for replying me so promptly,, and I really appreciate your suggestions. In TOEFL I found reading and listening were so difficult , I didnt find any much problem when I was practising it , but in the real test reading and listening were so difficult ,, I think this is the reason why I am afraid to go for TOEFL again. In IELTS one thing seems difficult to me which is graph type essay but I think if I do practise and get familiar with this kind of essay I will achieve the good score in IELTS. |

Hi, IBT requires you a very high level of listening skills, and there are integreted parts so it is much different from the tests we have ever taken. But if you pratise your listening and speaking skills, and get familar with this new form of test, a score of 86 is not very difficult.
If you want to spend money and time on the ILETS, I think it is much easier to get a 6.
So my suggestion is to buy a book on ILELTs and test yourself like an real test. And then make your desicion. Good luck! |
