I agree with the statement that face to face communication is better then other types of communications. I think that face to face communication had been existed even before the invention of the languages. After invention of languages, they became an important part of face to face communication. So, I think that face to face communication is more than speaking. In face to face communication you can use different accents and voices to explain your thoughts. You can use your hands to point to something or you can use your eyes, lips etc to explain more about what you want to say. You can laugh or cry to explain your feelings. So, In face to face communication you have a lot of means to use to explain what you really mean and obviously you cannot use most parts of them in other types of communication.

But sometimes, we cannot communicate face to face so we use the other types of communications like letters, e-mails, telephone calls etc. These types of communications are the result of the modern technologies and we can easily use them when face to face communication is not there or in our problems. For example, consider the situation that you want to say something important to your friend and he is somewhere you don’t know? you can easily call him on his mobile phone or you can write him a e-mail and write the things that you want to say to him.

In short, all the means of communications are good but face to face communication is better than other types of communications.
