Hi everyone,

I'd like to ask about the meaning of the phrase 'extra-wide street.'

Then Vega flipped down the HUD over his left eye and checked something. Sure enough, the engagement plan for their company (and only their company) was available, and it had them landing on Harbor Drive where it intersected with Pacific Highway, which, according to the map in the HUD, was an extra-wide street, just barely large enough at the intersection to accomodate the Huron.

Does the phrase 'extra-wide street' simply imply that the street is wider than other streets in the city/town?...

Hi KLPNO

Yes, I would understand that to mean that the street was at least a little bit wider than usual (wider than most other streets).
