Hello everybody.
I received my score on TOEFL.

Reading-27

Listening-25

Speaking-20

Writing-27

Total score-99

I'm satisfied with my results on condition that i did not know what to expect. The test seemed difficult to me and i thought i would have a lower score but now i am extremely happy:)))

Cong. Simona89 you really achieved a noticeable score. I have registered TEOFL IBT and I am going to take it at Nov 9. Do you have any suggestions for me and other TOEFL takers? And how do you compare the prep books practice tests and real TOEFL test? I mean what is the possible deviation of practice test over real test you think? Thanks. Congratulations again Smile

Hello vuralorion!

Well, I did not actually use any preparation books. My teacher gave me many TOEFL tests so it wasn't necessary for me to buy any books. I also downloaded the LONGMAN and DELTA TOEFL tests. They were extremely useful for me but i think the real test is more difficult. The reading included 5 passages which was a great surprise. I had not expected so many texts and moreover they were longer than expected. I needed more than 4 minutes to read each text.Listening was not hard but the lectures seemed longer than these i had practised.Speaking is not hard but you have to be very concentrated and don't miss important information. Because you will probably hear when others speak you may be distracted. Speak loud and clear.Pronunciation and intonation are essential. Writing is easy especially the independent task. That's all. The most important is to be self-confident and concentrated. Good luck!
