TOEFL® essay sample: Education is a lifelong task

Hello everybody! I'm going to take my TOEFL exam soon, November 9'th. So I have pretty much a little time left. I am kind of scared mostly of a listening and reading sections.

But hopefully I'm going to make it , trying to keep positive anyway.
I am working on my writing skills now, can you please rate my essay and make corrections/adjustments.

Education is a lifelong task. Do you agree or disagree?

Certainly education is the top key for the success. If we are going to discuss about the virtues of education or being educated, I suppose it will take hours, days, weeks and probably months to express everything regarding it because education is so broad and it encompasses everything; every single aspect of our life. And life is a continuous education process, gaining knowledge, discovering and upgrading your mind and skills.

I definitely agree with the statement that education is a lifelong task. Because, life is a big journey full of challenges, surprises, obstacles and lessons. Every single moment we feel it, we get something out of it whether it is positive or negative we feel the live deep inside. Furthermore, there is always something that awaits you. I believe that everything is prescribed for us before we experience it, which means life is actually preparing for you something that you don’t have a clue about and you have to get ready and prepare for a long journey through constant learning, striving and education. So I strongly believe and encourage that education is a lifelong task of every person who inhabits this incredible world.

On the other hand, one can argue that education is not a must as a lifelong task stating that education is required only as a prerequisite for young kids during their development stages; initially sending them to kinder garden, elementary school, junior-high and high schools, then college, masters and PhD’s only for those who would like to pursue and continue their higher education. However, I think this is a very controversial view that education is only an early duty for those who need to go to educational institutions; day cares, schools, colleges, universities and e.t.c. Moreover, we have to realize that by not perceiving education as a continuous task we fail to recognize the importance and role of education as a lifelong enlightenment and improvement process.

In sum, I would like to conclude with the statement that I totally agree and there is no doubt that education is a lifelong task and duty of every person during his or her entire life to grow, improve and to have a good life.
