| You have to try again. With a 350 verbal score, you probably wouldn't get a visa to study in the U.S. It's harder now. You still have time to retake; just focus on verbal. I would strongly suggest a vocab book and a review book. I have Word Smart for the GRE...much better than the big lists because you're not wasting time on words that won't show up on the GRE. Cracking the GRE has very good tests and verbal tips; try that. |

hi friends, i just took gre at London, i got 750 in quants and 320 in vocab which is a very bad score, i wanna to resit for the exam, but my doubt is weather the new score will be an aggregation of two tests or the second test' s highest score will be reported. no idea how it works. any one could suggest me please.i wanna to apply for phd. i must try to get more than 1300 at least to enter into some presatgeous universities.

I just found a really good site that has a ton of verbal exercises and word lists and this interactive flash cards which are pretty helpful! It's much cheaper than Kaplan, but this prepared me well especially for the verbal section of the GRE. I ended up getting a 720 in Verbal.
I suggest you check out this site www.graduatetestprep.com |

I do not think that a high GRE score will take you into your dreamed universities. Some people who have high gre score failed into undergraduate school and some people who have not very good gre score had already went to universities. It is real. You maybe have so many years and many projects experiences and even you are proud with them until today. But that will not help you and push you into the Undergraduate schools. Some universities still send you rejection letters. The fact is they do not understand you and what you have done. To them you are only a shit whatever you have done even if you have launched the moon and come back successfully. |

Hi crna,
Many thanks for your comments. Do you have any suggestions as to how Appleboy can improve his verbal score? Regards, Torsten _________________ Test Of English for International Communication TOEIC Preparation & TOEIC Vocabulary |
