Smile Dear Alan,
I'm amazed at your talent for writing such witty, amuzing and educative essays. They are charming, ingenious, subtle. You always choose the right aspect of vocabulary to discuss; you are aware of the difficulties foreign learners face.
Unfortunately, I can't afford to buy your book of short stories, so many thanks on your newsletters.

This essay is very interesting. I just read top to buttom. Can you also write something on the topic "telecommunication's digital supervisory system"?

Thanks,

Well. I must say that I love the essay so much. I think your essay helps me a lot in improving my English. I read it three times and gradually I learnt a new lesson through each time of reading. By the way, I have applied for translation centers with an aim of raising my income because my salary of present is not enough. Hopefully things go well.

Sweet goodbye to all of you!

Good evening, dear Torsten. Thank You very much for your attention, I use Alan's materials as a student first of all, but I can use them in my classroom too as a teacher. I'm working at school 178 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. I read them on my computer screen because i don't have the opportunity to print them at home, and I can't buy them them because they are very expensive for me right now, but soon I will.
My students of 9-th and 11-th grades liked the story very much, because it was written in an unusually interesting way for them, all books we use for reading are old enough.
Thank you, hear from you soon.

Hi Alan, thank you for your newsletter.

I have already read it, it's really attractive, when I started to read it I couldn't take my eyes from it. Really, you have a capability of writing from your heart. You really can do it. But I cannot.

I have one little problem, won't you help me with that? I cannot talk as long as I want, don't you know why? Please write to me.
Goodbye,

Dear Mr Alan Towend,
Thank you very much for your interesting and amusing story. I think I've enjoyed it and improved my English vocabulary, specially in English expressions.

The story also gave me some insight into English history of which I do not know much. Please send me more short stories like this - one and once a week.
Yours sincerely,
Thanh
