Hi my dear teachers,

Quote:

They say we're too young
To get ourselves sprung
. . . . . . . . . .

What does the phrase in bold mean?

Thanks so much in advance

"To get yourself sprung" can also mean to have someone get you out of jail. In fact, I think that's the meaning most people know, but it's obviously not the meaning intended in the song.
