What is the difference between "remember" and "remind"?

"Remember me your name" or " Remind me your name"

Hi Ariadna,

You can say Do you remember my name? or I'm sorry I don't remember your name.

Now look at these examples:

Could you please remind me to call my mother? or
His face reminds me of an old friend of mine.

You can remember something and you can remind somebody to do something.
