Can you live in a "high apartment"? Wed Nov 14, 2007 12:26 pm  Can you live in a "high apartment"?

Hi,

Can you say that you live in a "high apartment"? I mean, if you live an apartment that is on the 15th floor of a building, do you live in a "high apartment" or just in an apartment that is located high above the ground?

Thanks,
Torsten

'High/sky-high/sky-scraping apartment/flat' would be my suggestions.

Or perhaps (and more poetically) an apartment in the clouds/skies?

Maybe 'I live in a high building' sounds more natural. I prefer 'penthouse-style', though.
