Hi everyone,
I'd like to ask what an industrial desk is.

So she had been rather taken aback to find that Liebniz worked in a small, cramped twentieth-floor office barely thirty square feet, with an industrial desk, uncomfortable chairs, and not enough space.

Hi KLPNO

An industrial desk is probably a desk that is basic, utilitarian and probably fairly sturdy as well as drab. It would not be the least bit elegant or high-tech, there would be nothing particularly special or expensive about it, and it might not even be very ergonomic.
