Please help me. I want to change the following statement to a question using in addition to.

In the ancient Olympics, athletes competed in chariot races and running events.

Should I use the auxiliary did in the question?

Thanks a lot!!! Confused

Hi Winston

Yes, I would say you need to use 'did'. Would you like to post your version of the question for comment?

Thanks! and yes, please do.

Should the question be stated like this:

In addition to chariot races and running,in what other events did ancient Olympic athletes compete in?

or

Are there any other events other than chariot races and running where Olympic athletes competed in?

Thanks for your help.
