meaning of "half'a creation" Sun Nov 18, 2007 20:11 pm  meaning of "half'a creation"

Hello everyone.
I'd like to ask about the phrase "half'a creation" in the following context:

Only Libeniz and Patel got out with Annabella. At the reporter's questioning glance, Liebniz said, Ain't good to have half'a creation trampin' through the corridors. Just keeping' it to the three of us is best.

Does "half'a creation" mean whole crowd/big crowd?

Hi KLPNO

The author was apparently trying to write "half of" the way it is often spoken: "halfa"

The expression "half of creation" literally means half of all the people on earth.
More figuratively speaking, yes, the author means "a lot of people".
