I got a mail with the below sentence today. I put it in quotes.
I know that the correct way to say is between me and ...

I'd like to know whether native English people sometimes say between myself or is it totally wrong?

"Today it has been decided that the cooperation between myself and the company will be terminated."

The person who wrote that sentence wanted to sound official or something by using the word myself, but it's bad grammar.

Saying "between me and the company" is also bad grammar, because in English the speaker is supposed to put himself last.

The correct way of saying it is "between the company and me". However, people who don't know grammar think this sounds wrong, even though it's right. That's why they use words like "myself". They think that the longer something is, the more correct it must be.
