Rescore for GRE® Analytical Writing Test...

hi all,

I would really appreciate some advice. Have anyone tried to have their Analytical writing test rescored? Is it worth the risk in general (as the score can get higher, lower or remain the same)....

I am having a 4 for my AWA and wonder if I should try to ask for a rescore....

or does anyone have statistics showing the trends of rescore results?

please kindly advise.........

p.s. for paper-based test takers, have anyone tried hand scoring for paper based test?

I really don't think it's worth re-scoring.. I did it, and ended up getting worse :(

oh...thanks for your reply, may i know what score you got for AWA? and how much lower was your score after rescoring?

p.s. anyone got higher score after rescoring?
