pamphlet=a small brochure, a kind of literary story?
brochure= a big one, prospect?

No, they're really interchangeable in use. Everyone has his own ideas.

A flyer/flier is definitely smaller, usually just a single sheet. 'Pamphlet' meaning literary story died out in the 18th or 19th century; literature is no longer published that way.
