Hi Tom,
I am assuming you did mean tale. I find the sentence a bit wobbly and awkward. Perhaps - in the continuation of my story .... Then again with such a small snippet it's difficult to appreciate the context.

Hi, Alan But what if there is only one story and many continuations for it from different people. And I say "In my continuation of the story..." Does it still sound awkward to you?
