TOEFL essay: Always telling the truth is the most important consideration...

ALWAYS TELLING THE TRUTH IS THE MOST IMPORTANT CONSIDERATION IN ANY RELATIONSHIP

Honesty and dedication are the key factors in any relationship between people.I cannot imagine myself lying to my parents, friends and to my husband.There is a simple suggestion in Holy Bible: don't do things to people which you don't want to be done to you.If you don't want to be cheated so don"t cheat. If all of us could follow this simple rule can you imagine how easier our life could be?

I feel strongly that any relationship, such as marriage, friendship, parent-children relationship needs honesty as plant needs sun and water.

First and foremost I have to point out that honesty in a family is a basis for parents to raise good children. If they are honest with each other, that will be a pattern for their children to behave exactly like their parents in their future relationship. For example I always admire how my parents could live with each other more than 37 years.The answer is evident- because of the honesty. Lying in a family destroys everything and first of all - love.

Secondly you have to be honest with your close friends otherwise thats not a friendship. Lying or hiding the truth from your friends is not going to build an everlasting and true friendship. I have lost many many friends because of lie.I belong to the kind of persons who doesn"y stand lie and stabbing from the back.Eventually you stay with one honest friend.

Finally and in my opinion the most important part is a truth and closeness in a family. I cannot imagine myself lying to my parents or my sisters. In my opinion most of the people are honest and do not lie to each other mostly in their family but in the other relatioships, like friendship, marriage , business they tend to hide the truth sometimes.

To conclude I have to admit that we all have to try to be honest with each other as much as possible. Honesty is like bricks for building of your house of relationships.
