Hi,

'Remember' means 'not forget'. 'Remind' means make yourself or somebody else, remember. Let's put both verbs in one sentence:

I forgot to lock the back door last night - I just didn't remember to do it and I would like you to remind me to lock it tonight.

Hope that helps

Alan

Then what's the difference between "Just" and "Only"? I know when to use it but I dont know the explanation.

As a rule of thumb, use just whenever you make a present perfect statement as in "I've just finished my washing", and use only when you could also say merely or nothing but.

Really, meaning of the phrase is not so evident as it may occur to a native speaker.
Would be good to explain that Remember me to somebody is a set expression & its meaning can be found in the dictionary if taken as a whole collocation rather than just individual meanings of words.
