Meaning of renowned Mon Jan 24, 2005 16:41 pm  Meaning of renowned

Renowned is an adjective that used to describe famous professionals such as scientists, doctors, writers, authors, professors, counsellors etc.
It's rather unlikely that a plumber would gain such a level of recognition. However, a plumber or any other craftsman can be reputable.
