Sewing thread is a thin, continuous strand of material that you can buy on a spool. It's the fine, string-like material that people use when they sew fabrics together. Thread is used to keep fabrics together.

if you were fefering to "new threads" locally we would refers to a new smart outfit. but of course it could be sewing thread Sewing Machine Thread.
