Hi Guys!
I am new here, just seen your blogs here and feel much motivated that i am not the only person who faced the same problem in toefl ibt, but the bottom line is how we overcome this problem, i have also got good score in rest of the section of ibt in spite of did well also in reading. mention below my score

reading 8
Listening 20
Speaking 22
Writing 20

What should we do in these situation, problem to this solution lies in where,

i read all the comments here, anyway, i was really xyz up with ETS
i have to say ibt might be the worst test made by ETS ever
i did my ibt really great last time, however, the result turned out really unfair
R 24 L 13, Sp 22 W 21
the listening part i did it perfect, and im pretty sure i make 90% right choice. In this way, i have no idea what was going on with their scoring system, seem like they do have very severe technical problems, even without justifiable grading system on both writing and speaking. just take a look at how people get those two sections' score revised.
it's the worst test i have ever taken, to be honest, nobody had ever said that my english has pronunciation problems which might hard for people to follow.

If anyone interested in telling ets those problems, count me in.

dont worry, try your best. as my bf said this freaky score cant reflect my real english level.
i hope you are lucky enough.
most of people have good and normal score on it, better than they anticipated .

make sure you prepare it well.

for me, i felt at least i can reach schools minimum, got sorta luck tho.

I am worrying about speaking section and writing section.
I decided to write daily one essay.
I think you are new to this forum, welcome to this forum my dear friend.
Here Mr.Kitos helping, lots of students by correcting their essays.
Now i got confidence regarding Independent essay topic, but I am not getting how to prepare Integrated type essay.
Can you please suggest me how can I practice that?
I have one doubt regarding score that, can we know our reading and listening scores immediately after writing exam?

thx, im really fairly fresh here, lol
first, i didnt really prepare for writing quite a lot, my bf taught his students to practice note-taking. and try to learn how to paraphrase the reading part.
and i think you gotta practice how to organize your article
in my opinion, try to understand lecture and compare it with the reading passage, which is really helpful. bc its easy for ya to get main idea. There are some books abt how to improve this skills that you can find in the book store. Otherwise, i dunno anything how to practice. i only prepare it in 2weeks tho.
second, you need to wait the whole electronic transcripts in 15days. cant know your score immediately.

there is no need to freak out abt their grading system. i believe under the most circumstances, ets makes fair score.
what should i say, i was the damn unlucky one. hope everything wont be like this anymore.

hi rad, i think he was saying that u'll pass your toefl easily and swiftly, unless you are deaf which means unless you cant hear anything
anyway, sounds it wont be a problem for u, hope you are lucky
