Hi George,
Thanks a lot for joining our forum -- you really look like a fascinating person. Where and how have you learned English? And what do you do when you are not answering grammar questions on the Internet?
Talk to you soon, Torsten

I started attending an American School in Moscow, and as you'd expect, all subjects were in English, and there was a big national diversity present amongst the students. Maybe you even heard of the school, it's called the International School of Tomorrow, and as far as I know, there are thousands of schools operating in the USA only. Anyways, there basically were two major groups hang-out groups in the school, the first one was full of Africans and some Asians, and the second were the Russians and students from its adjacent territories. You'd be surprised, but I was the only white guy in the first group. So yeah, I kinda grew in a "black community". Who would expect that to happen to anyone in Moscow? Anyways, I'm back in Tbilisi right now, and it's quite hard for me to assimilate or integrate myself into the existing community, since I'm used to multicultural hang-outs. Well, what else can I add to this post? Maybe the fact that I'm fluent in Georgian, Russian, English, and soon to be fluent in French and Japanese will be an interesting note. :D |
