Can you help me answer this question?
*wehave the following structure:The comparative +S+V,the comparative +S+V.
But I want to know if we can omit verb in the above structure
For example:Since the earth is spherical, the larger the area, the worse the distortion on a flat map.
Is this sentence right?

Yes, sometimes you can eliminate the verb, if people will automatically know what it is.

In fact, sometimes you can eliminate EVERYTHING after the comparative, as in sentence like: "The less he comes here, the better."

When I was in college, some of our graphic design instructors used to say jokingly: "The bigger and redder, the better."
