Should I take GRE General or GRE Subject? Wed Jan 02, 2008 19:26 pm  Should I take GRE General or GRE Subject?

Hello. I am doing undergraduation (bachelors) in Computer Science.

I intend to take GRE.

Should I take GRE General or GRE Subject?

Or, which one should I take first, or which one is more important?

I intend to go abroad after my undergraduation, but not necessarily USA.

Please explain. Thank you.

GRE General test is required by almost all US universities for MS.
GRE subject test is RECOMMENDED and not REQUIRED in many of the universities.

Yes, that's right. You have to take the general GRE, but only some programs ask for the subject one.
