Hello all,
I ended up at this forum after I was trying to find out some things I'd like to know in English, and I think I'll be posting here more often, unfortunately in the questions section I'm afraid.
I was trying to tell someone, and actually would have used it often if I know the words for it, that something has so very often, that I lost the count. For example, like in a game, when you die often and have done something so many times already.
I was trying to say something like I would in my Mother language (Dutch), but the words I used didn't exist when I looked them up.
I thought of something like "I've just died for the so....", but well, that's where I have to change my line, as I don't know how I'd continue, or how to say it in other nice words. (So I'd often say then "I've just died for so many times that I lost the count", but is there anything else that I could say to tell someone I've just done that for a very lot of times or so ?
I'm sorry if I wasn't very clear, but it's hard to explain when you'd like to know what you don't know :)
Thank you very much for reading, and thanks in advance for your input. |
